Diandra came knocking on my door at 5am to wake Laticia and me up. I told her that I didn't want to get up yet. Sunday is my only day to sleep in and I was pretty mad that she was waking me up. I knew that we were going to 'Car Free' but I didn't know we had to go that early. Car Free day is held every Sunday on this one street in Bandung. They shut down the street to cars and open it to bikers, walkers and all kind of vendors. I was there to help sell bread and clothes for raise money for the local Interact (Rotary for high school kids) club. I walked the streets selling our bread. It was so much fun just to people watch and walk around. We sold some stuff, I hope that it was enough. While we were there, a flash mob broke out. Several professional dancers all were paid by a local news company to dance and I got a front row  view and I got it all on film. I would put the video up but the internet connection is not good enough... sorry everyone I guess you will see more pictures and videos when I get home. The driver came and got Laticia and me and we drove to her home, there was lots of traffic and I slept almost the entire way, I was so tired. I said good bye to her and then we drove home. It was so nice to finally be out of the car and back at home. I watched TV, took a nap, and have now caught up on all of my blogs. I also got to Skype with Sis. Rodrigues and my family. I love seeing people from home, I would love it if my people emailed me ( AlainaRRoberts@gmail.com) or facebook me. I love it here, I can't believe it has been a month already. Thanks for reading, I love you all!

Everything about today was really good. But, I really enjoyed the street dancing and talking to my family and friends on Skype.

  1. A flash mob...I thought that only happened in America. It is very cool that you got a front row seat to the dancing. I hope your Interact club was able to raise a lot of money. Do you know what they were raising money for? It was great talking to you this morning. Love you lots, MOM
